Statewide Home Health Care is a privately owned Independent Living and Rehabilitation Centre.  Our Showroom grew out of a small section of an Acland Street  (St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia)  Pharmacy,  when in 1992, St Kilda Home Health Care opened and operated independently from its own Barkly Street site. 

The concept of Home Health Care products, being displayed in its own retail environment was completely  new back then.  The idea was to combine all the elements into a stand alone one stop shop for the general public, Health professionals and their patients.  The range included Sports Medicine Products, Asthma and Allergy Care, Exercise equipment, Rehabilitation equipment for hire and sale, Therapeutic pillows, Pressure care products, and Arthritic aids for daily living.

In October 2000, the business relocated to its  present site at 501 Nepean Hwy in Brighton, and at that time changed its name to Statewide Home Health Care. 

One and a half  years ago the showroom was completely refitted to enhance our clients shopping experience.  By combining a number of Local and International product ranges, Statewide showcases one of the Health Industries most extensive ranges of Independent Living and Rehabilitation Equipment. 

All the staff at Statewide are specially inducted into our growing team of fully trained  Home Health Care consultants. Our service delivery  model continues to set the highest possible standard throughout the industry. We offer a courteous and understanding service.  At Statewide we provide only suitable equipment, and will refer to health professionals when appropriate. 

Our business expertise now extends to our recently launched mobile repairs, and Rail installation service.  We also offer a professionally managed  Asset Management program, which combines administration, storage, reissue, preventative maintenance, and web based tools for cataloguing of medical equipment for clients.

Statewide Home Health Care is a member of the e.quip services consortium for Department of Veterans Affairs patients.

Statewide Home Health Care offers complimentary delivery to Hospitals which we have service agreements with.  For a reasonable charge, we offer same day delivery service that operates throughout the Melbourne Metropolitan Area; we also provide next day delivery for patients who live in County Victoria.
